David Beckham Lovers

There's been pictures and there's been quotes but there hasn't been actual footage of David Beckham making an appearance in Only Fools And Horses.... until now that is!

Ahead of the Sport Relief telethon on March 21, a preview clip has been released of the super famous footballer sitting in a cafe with brothers Del Boy and Rodney Trotter played by Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst respectively.

In the short clip, David can be seen explaining to the brothers why he's wearing glasses and just like Del's knack of saying the wrong word when he means something else, David can be seen saying:

"To be honest, I thought that if I was to wear these, no one would recognise me and I could be a little bit incognitive" - obviously meaning incognito.

Meanwhile, Sir David recently spoke of how the one of sketch with David Beckham came about. Speaking about it on Michael McIntyre's new chat show, the veteran actor said:

"He said he had always loved Only Fools And Horses and that it would be great to do something with me and Nick. So then the grapevine started to work as these things do."

Recalling how nervous he felt when he arrived on the set, the footballer who is married to former Spice Girl Victoria told the Radio Times recently:

"The day of filming started off with a slightly sleepless night, going over my script. The thought of being on set with Nicholas and David was obviously very nerve-racking."
