David Beckham is set to star in a new BBC documentary, which will see him and three of his buddies exploring the Amazon.

And the boys have already filmed it! How did we not know that Becks had been in the Brazilian rainforest for the past couple of weeks?! We could have packed a bag and headed over there had we known...

BBC Worldwide managing director Helen Jackson said of the upcoming show: "This is an unforgettable documentary set in the heart of the dense Amazon rainforest following David Beckham.

"Through his eyes, audiences will experience life in the jungle, something so distant from David's life on and off the pitch and in the glare of the world's media."

BBC One controller Charlotte Moore added: "In this special documentary for BBC One, David Beckham embarks on a top secret expedition to the Amazon that will see him encounter the other side of Brazil and journey through the tropical rainforest, a TV first for the global icon."

The currently untitled programme will air on BBC One in June.

Oh, and don't forget to catch Becks on a special episode of Only Fools And Horses for Sport Relief on Friday. It promises to be a right hoot!
