David Beckham touched by Valentine's Day cards from typhoon
The football legend left wife Victoria, 39, at home to spend time comforting children who have lost their homes.
He arrived in the city of Tacloban yesterday to meet hundreds of survivors of killer Typhoon Haiyan.
David, 38, said: "I was humbled to visit Tacloban and see how people are so full of spirit despite the devastation they have suffered."

More than 6,200 were killed when the disaster struck on November 8, leaving tens of thousands of people still homeless.
The dad of four visited a tent used as a makeshift classroom in his role as a Unicef Goodwill Ambassador.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for David has denied reports in the US that he plans to call his new football team Miami Vice after his favourite police show.
