David and Victoria Beckham's new £50million London home has its own PANIC ...
The seven-story mansion near Kensington Palace also includes five bathrooms, cinema, library, underground car park and 'staffed massage rooms'.
Moving house: David and Victoria Beckham
Living in LA seems to have rubbed off on the Beckhams - their new £50million home will have its own PANIC ROOM.
Posh, 39, and Becks, 38, are sparing no expense on the seven-bedroom mansion just a stone's throw from Kensington Palace, where their friends William and Kate live.
It will have an underground spa, a pool and restaurant-quality kitchen as well as the reinforced hideout which is popular among the very wealthy in America.
A source said: "Security is a concern and the new house has a soundproof panic room.
"It may sound OTT but they are actually the norm in Los Angeles."
The family have been living in a rented mews house since they returned from California, but will move to a larger place in West London until the five-storey Kensington home is ready late next year.
The new home will have five bathrooms, an indoor cinema, library, underground car park and "staffed massage rooms".
Pals: Becks and Prince William
Its garden is a fraction of the size of the grounds at their old home Beckingham Palace - which sold last month for £9.5million.
But there will be a small AstroTurf footie pitch for children - Brooklyn, Cruz, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and two-year-old Harper - and, of course, David.
A source said: "After months of searching they have found their dream city home. Their offer should get accepted any day now.
"It is in a perfect, quiet location with discreet, well-to-do neighbours.
"David and Victoria want everything perfect. It will be unique."
David and Prince William became friends in 2007 while spearheading the London Olympic bid. He and Posh were invited to the Royal Wedding in 2011.
Becks, who attended an Olympic football match with Wills, said of the royal pair: "They're going to be amazing parents because they are so loving towards children."
