Shepherds Bush United FC played out their cup quarter-final under the watchful eye of one of sport's most famous faces, David Beckham.
The Sunday league side defeated Maro FC 3-1 in the Middlesex League Challenge Cup earlier today, before lining up to have their photograph taken with the England legend.
Shepherds Bush posted a team photo, including their 'new signing' on their Twitter account earlier, reading "3-1 win under the watchful eye of David Beckham today."
Beckham presented Shepherds Bush players with a team photo before signing the clubhouse to confirm his presence at the game.
A spokesman for the club revealed to MirrorFootball that the star-struck players were too excited to ask the England star why he was in the area: "Didn't ask - just asked for the photo.
"The lads were ecstatic."
After hanging up his boots in the summer, the former England captain was unfortunately not tempted to make a brief cameo for the part-timers, sticking to his watching brief throughout.
