David and Victoria Beckham eye up new mansion in town of celebs


After selling Beckingham Palace in Hertfordshire, the couple are looking at the popular country weekend retreat of Chipping Norton that hosts celebs from all over country.


From Prime Minister David Cameron to actress Liz Hurley, Chipping Norton could be the ideal place for David and Victoria to unwind with some famous friends.

After retiring from football last year, the former England captain has been keeping himself busy with media appearances and promotional advertising.

But Becks, who earns around £165million a year, has wanted to spend as much time with his family of six as possible.


With Victoria away working across the capitals of Europe and in New York, the couple are still trying to find away to settle somewhere with their four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.


The couple sold Beckingham Palace for £12million earlier this month and are now looking for a new place to take a break.



Currently they are renting a £23million Kensington house in West London but have properties elsewhere around the world to look after.


They still own their six-bedroom home in Los Angeles and French property in Bargemon, Provence which come in handy for quick getaways abroad if need be.


The two almost bought Michael Winner's former £50million mansion in June but decided against it after complications.
