For most people moving into a new house, it is important to quickly fill it with their own sentimental touches.

And it seems that the Beckhams are no different after removal men were seen taking a huge heart painting into their recently bought London mansion.

The 7ft Damien Hirst artwork, called Daddy's Girl, is pink and adorned with butterflies.

Costing £600,000, it was commissioned by them for daughter Harper's first birthday in July 2012 and is expected to be hung in her bedroom.

The couple, who are estimated to earn around £100,000 a day, paid £31.5million for the Grade II-listed property - and did not need a mortgage, the Daily Mail can reveal.

The purchase went through in September, but was officially recorded only last month.

Both David and Victoria are named as owners of the property, which is located in an exclusive part of West London, on official Land Registry documents.

Their new home has seven bathrooms for its eight bedrooms and more than 9,000 sq ft of floor space, not including a 100ft Oriental garden. Interior designer Kelly Hoppen is believed to have been drafted in to help with plans to completely revamp the property.

The couple will sleep in a huge master bedroom, there are three guest rooms, and the kitchen will be fitted to restaurant standards.

As well as a large walk-in wardrobe/dressing room, Mrs Beckham, 39, will have a personalised manicure and hairdressing room which will have four nail bars, hairdressing chairs and mirrors surrounded with bulbs.

There will be a playroom for the couple's children - Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, and Cruz, eight, and daughter Harper, now two - who will each have their own bedroom.

Beckham, 38, has a personal 'snug' in the roof of the house which will be equipped with a bar and a pool table.

The couple have a range of business ventures that have allowed them to buy their new home without the need for a loan.

His company, Footwork Productions, showed a profit for 2012 of £14.7million, up from £13.4million. Beckham Ventures, which handles Victoria's fashion business, posted a profit of £2million.
